About our digital marketing courses
Why come?
1. I speak from experience
I’m not a professional speaker or two-minute “expert” who just tells others what to do. I’ve been working in digital marketing, communications and public relations for more than 11 years now. When I’m not teaching, coaching or training, I’m writing promotional copy, creating graphic memes for social media, writing marketing strategy and plans, briefing my designers, coders and SEO professionals, and a thousand other tasks that make up a busy digital marketing consultancy. Everything I teach has been personally road-tested.
2. Small is beautiful
These are not your average theoretical, dry and dull business courses where you’re spoken at all. day. long. All courses have around 12-16 people and each and every participant has the opportunity for individual feedback on their particular marketing and communications conundrums. You can ask questions, bounce ideas around and share your experiences. These courses will always be small and intimate – because that makes them far more valuable to you, the participant.
3. Real life is where it’s at
I’m not reading a bunch of books and regurgitating untested theory – if you want marketing theory, save yourself the time and money and visit the library. Every course has plenty of detailed, real life examples and case studies and live demonstrations. So you can translate theory and strategy into practical applications with real life results.
4. Action is genius
I’m obsessed with action. These courses aren’t passive. If you want to come to a course to be entertained, I can recommend many great plays, good books and fun movies. I want to see you implement marketing campaigns, experiment with new techniques, tweak existing campaigns and take action, above all else! Your follow-through is imperative to my success, so I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure you take action on what you learn.
5. I don’t leave you high and dry
Once the course is finished, you’ll have ample opportunity to join my online community, share your writing, collaborate, and follow-up. Before we meet, you’ll receive preparatory tasks, so you’re well-prepared to dive in and get the most out of the course. After the course, you can ask for my tried-and-tested marketing industry contacts, or further information. I’m here for you.
6. It has to be fun
Fun is massively important in business and hugely underrated. These courses are creative and creativity is meant to be fun! Especially if you’re in business for yourself, things that are fun get done. Life’s short. Business is important. But who says it needs to be dull?
